Based in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Southern Comfort Wear was founded
in 1995 by Dave and Nancy Green.

Dave and Nancy have unparalleled experience working with the elderly and the
disabled. Nancy worked in the nursing field for 13 years, specializing in Geriatrics.
She understands first-hand the unique needs of the disabled, and why adaptive
clothing can make all the difference in someone's quality of life.

Our customers appreciate working with a family-owned and operated business
because they receive the kind of personal attention that large corporations simply
can't provide. We take pride in our work, and receive great satisfaction from helping
those who find dressing in "regular" clothes difficult. We feel strongly that everyone
has the right to comfortable, new clothes.

Until recently, our clothing has only been available through personal presentations in
nursing homes and similar facilities. Now thanks to our new Web site, more people
